The ultimate steering for high speed single outboards, SeaStar PRO^®, is designed for the high speed and performance of today's top-end bass boats. SeaStar PRO^® has steered the BASS Masters Classic^® since 1994 and it's the choice of high performance outboard boatbuilders.

Applications: SeaStar PRO^® is for high-performance boats with single non-power-assisted outboards up to 300 HP, especially those capable of speeds over 60 MPH, which demand maximum steering control and comfort. It is suitable for use with high-performance propellers and jack plates.

Hoses:

General Hose Considerations: In most hydraulic steering installations the cylinder body moves as the motor, outdrive, or tiller arm is articulated. Provide sufficient hose length to alow full-uninterrupted steering motion including trim and tilt. If your splashwell is rated for a dual engine application or your are mounting the engines on a gill bracket you must provide enough steering hose to rig either twin or single engines.

How to measure hoses (standard hoses): 

Helm to steering cylinder:

1. Measure from the center of the steering wheel to the starboard side wall.
2. Measure the intended path of the hoses from the starboard side wall to the center of the engine
3. Round UP the measurement ot the nearest 'even' number and add two feet. This is the length of hose kit required
4. Choose the appropriate hose lenght from the drop down above labeled Pro kevlar reinforced hydraulic steering hoses
